Far Resources is a lithium resource explorer and developer focusing on underdeveloped projects with low barriers to production. Our experienced management and world-class technical team is focused on developing the historic Zoro Lithium project in the Snow Lake region of Manitoba. The Zoro project provides FAR with a historic deposit of lithium-bearing spodumene pegmatite. The property hosts seven known pegmatite dykes with the historic resource completed only on Dyke 1 in the 1950s.
In 2016, FAR started work programs on the Zoro claims through prospecting and sampling of the known dykes, confirming the lithium content of the spodumene bearing pegmatites. Since then, FAR has completed three drill programs delivering high-grade lithium assays from all drill holes. The company continues expanding its property holdings around the Zoro claims by recently optioning 2200 ha of contiguous land, as well as through an MOU covering another 1829 ha.
FAR also owns the Winston Gold Project in Sierra County, New Mexico, which covers several past-producing high-grade silver-gold mines. The company is proceeding with a plan of arrangement to spin out this project into a new company which will allow for more focus on advancing the Winston Project.
